I consider his last season a success. He scored his first goal since he was 15 years old.I've been a big supporter of BC but this is now his 3rd team in 3 years. He may just need to hit the minors and see what happens.
Cleveland to UMD & will be with Max Plante.

Hope he hits the ground running. Wonder what pushed him out of Colorado.
WWE or whatever it's called would likely be a better development option. Not sure how the college degree works when you've transferred as much as Cleveland. Maybe just go the University of Phoenix route at this point.I still think Toledo would be a better development option.

The NHL playoff defenseman? The Dennis Cholowski path to success.
How is the portal destroying college sports? Not good for a player who needs a lot of things to break right for him developmentally. The portal is destroying college sports but that is another issue all together.
Surely not allowing them to play for a year is best for their career and developmentThe portal sucks.
It's hard to fathom that the NCAA went from "we're suspending a coach for life because his players traded team trinkets for tattoos" to "everyone is a paid mercenary."
My opinion is that the NCAA needs to reinstate having to sit out a year when transferring. That would give the players some pause on whether transferring for an NIL deal really is the best thing for their career and development.
The NCAA has lost every single case that has gone in front of the courts. They steal money from players and restrict their movement, so it's a good thing this has finally come to an end. The original sin of the NCAA is it said athletes are students and not employees. Since they are not under any sort of employment contract like athletes who play professional sports the players can go wherever they like.My opinion is that the NCAA needs to reinstate having to sit out a year when transferring. I do agree that players moving from one school to another year after year doesn't clearly benefit anyone, but it's a logical outcome of the NCAA's corrupt policies which have been terminated by the courts. At some point the NCAA will be forced to embrace binding contracts, but that is probably several years away.
Would you propose the same prohibitive movement for coaches? My opinion is that the NCAA needs to reinstate having to sit out a year when transferring. That would give the players some pause on whether transferring for an NIL deal really is the best thing for their career and development.
