This is it. You can look at all of the statistics that you want but if the player is not putting the puck in the net or specifically contributing to that happening, it really doesn't matter. I don't see the assists and goals coming from him. I don't see him winning the battles for the puck in the tough areas. I don't see him forcing play or stopping it on defense. Sometimes the eye check matters. My eyes tell me that he's cooked and that there are better, younger players than him that could contribute more than he does to winning.Sure, if you don't actually watch the games
