I'm 23 btw. Hilarious movie, anyone who hasn't seen it watch it right now.

I agree to an extent but considering the last game is Saturday and the playoffs start Tuesday at the earliest he might play against NJ.

I lived my whole life in South Africa and now Holland. I really don't know what "Animal House" is. Doesn't ring a bell. But then again, I never watched "Ghostbusters". My little brother, who has lived in Holland his entire life, doesn't even know "Animal House".

He does know "Ghostbusters" though ;)
 
Even with a W, Ottawa winning will ruin the night anyway. It will be hard to even get pumped up for a series against the Pens. Its just so so unlikely we even put up a fight.

We need to get back in front of them. Win + Ottawa loss means we can clinch 7th with a W on Saturday.

I don't care about Winnipeg's game. Its only important if we lose out and if so we don't deserve it
 
No excuses. Beat them to the pucks, go to the dirty areas, score first...take away Carolina's will.

No messing around. Don't allow this game to come down to luck / bounces.

JUST WIN.

Its coming down to Saturday no matter what. We need to win BOTH games. Ottawa needs to lose 1. Getting into 8th is nothing. You all will really be satisfied with facing Pittsburgh???? 8th is just as bad as 9th for us.

The team is more than likely going to face Pittsburgh at some point if they plan on going to the final.

This loser's mentality isn't a good thing to have. We play Pittsburgh, we play Pittsburgh. If they beat us, it wasn't our year. Simple as that.

This. I'd give us around an 5% chance of getting out of the first round against the Pens. We may have greater odds against the slumping Canadiens. That shows how screwed we'd be. Match up with Boston, win, and pray for major upsets of Montreal and Pittsburgh otherwise we have no realistic shot at the finals.

This season is such a long shot, but we've come too far and are too close to just miss the playoffs now.

8th is better because it moves us out of the draft lottery, where CBJ cant get chance at #1 pick.

But yeah, your fandom will be severely tested after a 1st round routing from the Pens. lol.

Thats fine. Win Round 1 and face them in Round 2. At least then we'd have a series win banked to feel good about.

Don't understand this arguement. Doesn't matter if we have to beat them down the line. Fact is we are very likely to lose to them and I don't want to lose in the first round.

Who cares what round we lose in if we don't win the cup? I don't really care, last year's run was fun but it doesn't mean much to me as they didn't win a cup, or even get to the finals.

I like to see as much hockey as possible for the Rangers. I don't believe in the "Cup or bust" mentality.

You guys really wouldn't have felt better about last year if we beat the Devils, regardless of what woulda happened vs LA? I know I would have.
