Yeah that could be playing a role too. My theory with him has been that his confidence looks shot. He looks like he second guesses everything and I'd imagine being asked to sit so much is only adding to the anxiety. Assuming he has it, I can't get in his head but that's the sense I get. He's a different player when he gets bursts of confidence.

I wouldn't think that at all. Maybe in 90s and before tough teams would be too macho to dive but these days I feel like the dirtier the team, the more likely they are to have a bunch of divers. Boston was a good example for a while.
