Both these teams play the most boring, painful to watch style of hockey. Absolute slog fest.

Unless it's Anaheim or Minnesota - those were the two most exciting games of the year.

I guess there were a few others where Michkov score the OT winner.... those were pretty sweet.

But I do wish the Flyers had more deliberateness to their game. They score a lot off the rush and get goals of opportunity. Don't get me wrong - a goal is a goal. But I guess that just speaks to their lack of talent and/or offensive scheme? Not sure which is which.

You’re right!
They’re not the 83-84 Edmonton Oilers…that’s for sure…
Goals have been at a premium for the Flyers for a while now… well decades even!

Lack of talent at center.
And a lot of inexperience, they're a young team and play like a young team.

They're faster, pass and move the puck better. They're quicker than most of the teams they've faced this season, but as an undersized team can wear down against bigger opponents.

They're much better at forechecking and creating chances off the forecheck this season.
And dangerous in transition.

But they're still learning how to set up plays, not for lack of trying, plenty of cross ice passes this season but you can see the wheels turning, forcing passes, passing up good shots, not spacing correctly. They go to the net more, but have trouble setting up and getting good shots off in the high danger area.

For decades…
Flyers scouting is awful…which in turn enables awfully drafted players…then the organization can’t develop these players…
Mismanagement at its finest!
Overall needed in their hockey personnel.
