The video review for offsides is the stupidest thing the NHL has ever implemented.

Not saying it's the biggest deal exactly... but it's so clearly detrimental to game flow.

Just utterly, indefensibly dumb.

Yeh, if someone is a foot offside bring it back... but right on/above the plane? Give the offensive team and the linesman the benefit of the doubt.

Imagine a cup final decided on whether a skate blade was 'on' or 'in the air above' the blue-line?
