So hopefully Markstrom doesn't feel like playing like Hasek tonight. This is an important game for us that we need to win. Is there any chance Biron starts? I'd give him this game to rest Hanky.

No way Biron starts until we've clinched. If we clinch tonight, Biron can play Thursday and/or Saturday. Playoffs start on Tuesday.

Hank said he was gonna play yesterday. Biron will most likely start in Carolina (Depending on how things go tonight).

I will make this statement: If Nash does not show up tonight on the score board, we will lose.

My prediction is that by the end of tonight, the Rangers will have a playoff birth locked up. I want to see them play Biron one of the last two, but I definitely don't want them to lose any of the momentum they currently have. Offensively they are playing their best hockey of the year right now and we need that to continue.

I know it's just an expression, but the only modern goalie I've ever seen play like Hasek was Tim Thomas.

I see two possible outcomes:

0-2 loss (one EN)

or

5-1 win (Nash x2, Stepan, Hagelin, McDonagh)

Florida games always seem to be either a blowout win or a frustrating low scoring loss.

I think winning one of the last 3 will get us in, but they'll want to get 4 points to be absolutely certain.

Frankly with the opposition being what it is, there is no reason not to run the table, but hockey is an unpredictable sport.

It will be almost impossible for us not to score at least 2 against the Cats. Also remember, they're missing Kulikov, who's out injured.

5-2 win

hat trick for Stepan... he deserves it, playing well as of late.. im gonna say Brassard and Nash with the other goals..

Need to win all 3. Can't be playing the Pens to start the playoffs off.

Kreider goal. Richards goal and an assist. Brassard goal and an assist. I'll say 2 powerplay goals from B Rad and B Ras. Even strength goal from Kreider. 3-1 Rangers win.

Edit: Someone should go back to the 2nd Pens game thread where I said we'd only have 2-3 losses to end the season. Don't want to jinx it, but don't doubt the gut baby. Still have confidence we'll make the cup as long Staal and Dorsett come back.
