Bolligs goal was good shot, didn't it go in just barely touching the post ?

That said, I agree, Hank should get that one. Im glad he didnt.

Is Staal's vision messed up again? After that Nash breakaway he has Kreider wide open 5 feet in front of the net

Not so bad against the frigging Hawks.
Just can't take so much time off. They finished the second off pretty good.

Positionally, there should be no room there at all. I'm not getting bent out of shape, though. He's made some very good saves otherwise.

What, do you not watch NHL Tonight? Goalies give up goals all the time, nothing is weak to give up.

I call every goal like I see it. If it's a soft goal, i'll call it as such. Henrik gives up soft goals from time to time just like every other goalie in the league. Want an example? Watch this video below. By far, the softest goal Hank has let up all year.

The issue is, so many people here don't understand what a soft goal is. They think every goal scored should absolutely have been stopped by the goalie.

It's easy to say that sitting on your couch at home when you've never experienced pucks flying at yourself at 100mph. Puck's sometimes find holes and beat you. Shooters are talented, and at the NHL level even more so.

I had enough of your excuses and trying to sound like your billy smith.. You work for hank at his camps and will never say a bad about him. The goal was horrible cup winning goalies make that save.. Eddie O nails it he lost his net and angle .. He has been off all season and that's the perfect example

Point of interest: Crawford, the latest cup winning goalie, gave up a worse goal in this very game

This 100%. Everyone needs to remember who we're playing and the fact that it's 2-2 going into the 3rd. There's still 20 minutes to play and the Rangers are still very much in this, just need to bury some of these chances. I have confidence we'll come away with 2 points tonight.

What. No dude, it was soft. Trsut me man

2nd goal was certainly soft, but Hank's a big reason why this game is 2-2. Stepan line really the only line going right now at all times.

Someone needs to tell Kreider to drive the net 100% of the time. No more wristers or slap shots from the circle.

I mean, just because they probably beat Hank in practice doesn't mean it will work on a real NHL goalie :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

Win the period, win the game.
