It would have been nice to get the other point, to lose it in the shootout is disappointing.
We’ve got to come out a lot better and we can’t keep making mistakes that end up in the back of our net.
- Rick Nash

I’m happy we got a point, we played really well for 60 minutes, they came hard for parts of the game. To come back like that in the 3rd shows a lot of good things about this group.
I think the difference tonight was I did not stop the breakaways and Bobrovsky did, the one in the 2nd and then the shootout. I have some work to do there.
- Henrik Lundqvist

It was an entertaining game, anyway. I really liked the way we came out. In the first 40 minutes we had a lot of quality chances.
In my estimation we deserved to be in a better situation than down by two. The most even period was the third but we were able to score two goals.
We made a pretty strong comeback, I thought we deserved to be in a better position than we were after two.
- Alain Vigneault

Winnable, I guess. Lets hope Zucc turns it around from last match

Hoping for a win. Should be a fun game to watch. Hopefully Hank out plays Crawford. That's the only way I see the Rangers winning this game.

Man Chicago's roster is just exploding with talent and is so well constructed for today's NHL.

Agreed. It's so ridiculous though that Michal Handzus is their 2nd line center. It's amazing what you can get away with though when you are building a line around a Pat Kane.

Assuming Carcillo comes in to the lineup? Poor Miller would be scratched

stupid decisions. Miller should be in hartford if he is gonna be in and out of the lineup.. i dont see why the Rangers need both Boyle and D.Moore in the lineup at the same time :help:

6-1 OTL. Three goals by the late, great Hall of Famer Bill Mosienko in 21 seconds. :)

EDIT: The opposition GDT is very funny.

Can someone explain to me why our point leader is on the third line?

Maybe AV hopes Zucc can get other players going, like Brassard.

But I agree, it doesn't make sense, best players should be on the top lines. As soon as Zucc was moved down there, he stopped adding points.

Or when your GM actually studies the CBA and uses the loop holes to your teams advantage instead of clinging to some kind of personal crusade not to work the edges of it.

Chicago essentially won a cup because their management was willing to push the envelope on contract design to benefit their teams cap situation but not here in NY.

Because AV thinks Callahan is the heart and soul of this team and must play in the top6 no matter what the cost

Well he is the Captain.

But 3rd line or not, Zucc does get a lot of TOI, almost 20 mins a game.

Well that certainly helps too. My point is, put Handzus with Kreider and Callahan and he is on waivers by December.

Big opportunity here for us tonight. His is our opportunity to get embarrassed on a nationally televised game. Go make me proud!
