you can argue with me about Dubas being a good GM. But these last two years have been the most unlikable squads of the Crosby era.

No passion, no emotion, just completely dead vibes.

Not just two years thought. It has been unlikely honestly since the expansion draft. Started with losing Tanev.

Oh and you know they are going to win tomorrow to keep teasing us.

Not really. The Hextall teams were largely competitive and fun.

Honestly people that think Tanev was anything is the most bizarre argument.

Is this game still going on? Jesus, some of you are masochists lol

As long as you know you weren’t the first one to call for the team to tank. You’re actually quite late on that line of thinking.

.
I don't care if I'm first on that front. I just know this isn't a playoff caliber team.

You know it wouldn’t kill Sullivan to use the last change to his advantage once in a while. We’re already undermanned and he does nothing but make it worse.

But you do care. You make it a part of your identity on here. You never stop reminding us that you want the team to tank.

We get it.

Zucker was great that year. Loved the vibes.

Ok but kapanen crap the bed and they had to waive him. Heinen was awful and granlund was a disaster.

Zucker is a cool dude in all but that was the year the bottom 6 went to trash and the team missing the playoffs cap off a team that fell apart.

Of course I do, but, why do I want them to tank? You know, because you know my motivation? Financial considerations aside?

And It goes well beyond me wanting them to tank. My contention is they can try all they want, their slip from grace is inevitable.

So you feel the need to tell us everyday on here that you want the team to tank because your bets pay off?

Okay. Now we all know for sure. No need to waste your time typing it out every post.

No, that's not the only reason, far from it. I've stated the reasons on here multiple times over the years as to why. Clearly you don't know. So don't act as if you do.

Was way better than whatever the team has been the last two years.

Say what you want about Hextall but he waived Kapanen and McGinn and tried to improve the team. What is Dubas doing? Team has turned it around and we are trotting out Jars and Ned every night and Nieto and Acciari who are worse than McGinn / Kapanen ever were.

Dubas is way too focused on “winning trades” then making the moves that need to be made.

Mike Grier accelerated the rebuild in San Jose by taking what was available. Dubas is gonna hand cuff us because he wants to look smart.

I’ve never left a regular season game early but I did this time.

My last three games, 2-0 L to Carolina, 2-0 L to Rangers, 5-0 L Sens.

I’ve probably spent close to $3,000 during those games but this is the last one I’m going to in a long time. If they want to suck that’s fine but they need to lower the price of tickets then.

Not gona argue about Dubas. Dude has done jack and you should be 1000% critical and call him out. Dubas's failures doesn't absolve hextall though.

The team was more fun to watch with Matheson over Petry. Tanev over McGinn
It was exciting to have a young player doing well like Marino even if he dropped off after.

Hextall moved out most of the guys who played with heart for soulless players and all his trades were for guys close to 30 or over.

You were just in the Salary Cap thread arguing why we should trade for JT Miller. Doesn't seem very Grier to do that.

Moved off Tanev and McCann who are total losers in Seattle and brought in Heinen and re-signed Rodrigues. Good work tbh.

Team had hope those three years. Not sure what we have now. A bunch of mid ass prospects that we don’t even try because Noel Acciari needs to play 15 minutes?

L against Detroit, OTL against Columbus, L against Ottawa.

Every game they need to win they choke. Then they'll randomly go and beat team like Edmonton and Florida. They're gonna tease us all season and then miss the playoffs by 2 points again

Thought I saw something from Jesse and Doc again tonight. If Hayes didn’t feel the need to automatically shoot as soon as the puck touched his stick, they might have had something.

Probably.

I’m arguing that Dubas should decide on a path. Not just sit around and be like “we are trying to be competitive” while we ice losers like Nieto, Acciari, Ned and Jarry when we have better prospects in the A that can step up and play those roles.

Give the fans some hope. What is fun about this team outside of Rakell and Pickering right now?

They have a seven game road trip coming up. That's gonna be the determining part of the schedule.

I think those are Sully decisions. We haven’t had a GM who challenges Sully’s lineup choices. Not really.

There is a path, and he's stated as much four or five times this season. It's quite clear what the path is. You just don't want to accept it.
