2022-23, Eakins: 58 pts
2023-24, Cronin: 59 pts

Verbeek was ecstatic about last season and Cronin! There is no way Verbeek will get rid of Cronin, especially since they're ahead of last year in terms of points. Then there is Dostal and LaCombe developing greatly this year in Cronin's feather.
If Verbeek gives Cronin flowers for Dostal's development, he's a f***ing moron. That's all Sudsie and his team.

It’s more about the capitals slowing down than us playing at pace imho
Nah I don't really buy that. I haven't watched Washington too many times this season but enough to say they're really not doing much here. They're playing down to the Ducks and the Ducks are struggling.

I misread your post. Thought you said "slowing us down."

We know this, but Verbeek will think it's Cronin's culture change that helped improve Dostal. BTW, Dostal has had three different goalie coaches. Sudsie, the assistant goalie coach (dunno who it was), and now Budaj is the goaltending coach. Sudsie is the dir of goaltending, though.

Carlson dirty knee on Harkins htf is that ugly bastard desputing the call

No finish. Can kill penalties, though.
Half a dozen players hit free agency every year who can pk + decent bottom 6 production. Yes, you have to pay them. But maybe this off-season we finally do add these kind of players

That was a nice play by Mac behind the net to find Cutter in front of the net as the PP concluded. Cutter's shot got blocked. Killorn stole the puck behind the net and sent it back to Mac.

These guys do realize you can actually attack the net on entry, and not constantly default to trying to “set it up”, right?
