so Ty is useful, but you have to play him with a good defensive player, the guy who goes behind the net, Ty is good offensively, he is the only dman now that can create and help this stale offense...but he is lost with his numbers back

So we started the season with Rakell on L1 and won some games and then he went to Rust after one rough game for that line. After that he swaps Rust for Rak on L1 and we immediately go on a 7 game losing streak. He goes back to Rakell on L1 and then we had that winning streak. The first scoreless game for L1 and he goes right back to Rust where we resume losing most of our games.

My question is why did he even go to Rakell in the 1st place after the first losing streak? Why not just stick with Rust? We’d be a bottom 5 team and that much closer to a potential franchise-altering pick.

I guess I don’t understand what Sullivan is trying to accomplish. There’s more than enough evidence from this season that shows that Rust on the first line is almost a guaranteed loss, and that we have great odds of winning when Rakell is in that spot instead.

Honestly not sure why all the blame on L1 (or PP) goes to Guentzel and Rust when Sid is just coasting most of the time.
Not that they're playing well, or that it isn't idiotic staying with that line, as I have been saying since it was put together years ago. But it is not any one of them, it is and was always that they don't compliment each other well. Now that Sid has clearly lost his burst of speed, it isn't even that great on the rush either.

NB: I want to see Gruden PK. Can't close on opponents slower than Carter at least.

The last few times we've gone out, I've brought these penis valve caps I 3D Printed, I put them on cars parked beside me and then hopefully I am still there when they get back to their car and notice them, so far only 4 out of 10 have noticed and have laughed and left them on. I wonder if the other 6 have noticed yet.

My wife just yelled at me when she saw me arranging the files to print more, some people just can't fathom anyone having fun.

It makes me think they’re throwing the season away on purpose. But if they’re doing that, why even go back to Rakell the first time after that 7 game losing streak. Just stick with Rust and we only win 25% of our games. We’d definitely have a shot at the kid in June.

well its hard to complain about Sid, he definitively looks like he lost will to play, he has been coasting eversince they started campaining for his Hart nomination, I think he may need two totally different players on his line just to give him a little bit of change of pace,

Sid has been bad for a while now and it's probably the biggest reason why we stink unfortunately because this team just can't survive its top six not playing well
 
Sully has let a culture of entitlement permeate throughout this team. It's not merit-based anymore. For example, GCR has absolutely sucked and will most likely be out there with the empty net even though they don't deserve it. Why not put Zucker and Geno out there for the empty net? They have played far better defense this year than either Guentzel or Rust, who have been our two worst defensive forwards by far.

He hasn’t been bad and on a bunch of nights he looks like the only guy who gives a shit.
