While I whole heartedly agree about cutter being on the ice in OT. It always could be a part of his “development”. Rookies hit a rookie wall, cutter started playing so well (points withstanding) I thought hey he has the body type to get better as the year goes on. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t have to earn PT. I wanted him in OT this whole year, also understand why maybe he wasn’t getting it, he’s earned a spot on the OT roster now. I’ll be upset if he doesn’t continue to get chances. He's been pretty strong on the solo rushes the past month or so. Just needs better finishing and eventually circle back to work on his passing a bit. Right now we just need him to keep focusing on his attacking the net. The rest can be worked on later.

I don’t agree with her (think it’s a she). I think Cutter has shown there’s a lot more complexity to his game than he’s thought of having, but you wouldn’t see it if you casually watched him off and on.

I don't even agree with her wider point. To suggest that he's close to physical maturity and likely won't expand the scope of his game is still a premature thing to say this soon into his career. Cutter still has room to pack on muscle mass and add a bit more speed. And while he doesn't have the instincts to be the main play driver of a line, he has the tools to be a more well rounded forward than just a pure trigger man.
