Back then Cutter was a possession disaster because he was still adapting and trying to dazzle the coaches with bullshit no look passes. He's cleaned that up. No reason to take that early play and conclude it's not worth trying again.

Gauthier McTavish Gauthier did get McTavish going, and was a good 2nd line to the Terry line. Made sense not breaking them up when the team was playing well.
 
Leo with a lost possession in the o zone, leads to Carolina quickly turning it up and moving into our zone. Plz God let him get an empty net goal today.
 
Killorn getting looked off while he slams his stick on the ice for a pass, Leo then drops it back to him and he immediately turns it over. Probably why you get looked off bro.

I agree but that line isn't really clicking anymore.

I mean something has to give with this Leo-Killorn duo. It's the partnership Leo has had for most of his career and for most of that time they have shown zero chemistry. We can't just let a premium piece of our youth core continue to get stuck with a guy he does not function in tandem with ad infinitum or it's a waste of a development period. It couldn't hurt to try Leo with Cutter again. Make it a third line, put Colangelo on the third, let them have fewer minutes and develop together and at least see how it goes.
