Don't know why they insist on trying to ape Florida's man on man when we don't have the personnel for it, clearly, all it does is leave us hemmed in while the other team skates circles around us until someone loses their man(like Necas)

Pretty cool for them. Getzlaf and Staal were such a good comparable in their era. Getzlaf was consistently more physical as well as the better playmaker, but Staal was a force too and much better goal scorer to boot. Both were inconsistent in their efforts, but never when it counted. Both blossomed into great two-way players as well.

So who was better? My heart says Getzlaf. My brain? Also Getzlaf. Am I homer and Staal very well could have been better of the two? I don't care. Getsy was better.
staal probably had the better peak and was the better goal scorer, but getzlaf was better at everything else and i'd say had the better overall career

Wow look what happens when you connect with passes and go into the dzone with speed.

2 points in 2 games really. They scratched him for Ross yesterday:laugh:
Yesterdays game was so bad i didnt even notice he wasnt playing

I know I'm a homer for the kid but Leo is looking better this afternoon. Set up a couple good chances with the puck after passing up that shot and having a flub by the blueline.
The whole team is looking better

they are attacking with speed, and actually connecting with passes.

Carlsson and Colangelo having some early chemistry offensively? Colangelo didn't get the one-timer 100% on the puck, but it was a great high danger chance in the slot.
Dont worry killorn will kill that chemistry by killing every play that comes near him.

Watching the Packers but the way that’s going I might turn this on soon. Is it worth it or does the score not reflect the game?

Dumoulin has been shaky for a bit now. I’m very ready to trade him, give helleson his spot the rest of the season. Happy we got him. Great steady vet he’s been for us. Time to cash in on Dumo
