Fantastic!

I love this team so much. I had no idea how attached I could get to a team prior to this group of guys. Even Gabby, as new as he is, is one of "my guys." They're so scrappy and they have no concept of giving up. It's amazing to see!

bob meditating before the shootout was golden. He's outright playing on another level than everyone around him.

and setoguchi is a ****ing diver.

Edit: Can anyone get the image of him in that pose before the shootout?

Just out of curiosity, has a vezina winning goaltender ever missed the playoffs the year he won it? I'm not making any predictions on the outcome of the CBJ's final push, I'd just be really disappointed if Bob wasn't even considered simply because he couldn't drag this offense kicking and screaming into the promised land all by himself.

Don't mean to be a wet blanket but with exception of BOB, I thought we were pretty terrible all night. The Wild had their way in our zone and we couldn't stop them. On offense, the two times we managed to shoot from inside we scored, but the rest of the time it seemed the Wild pushed us to the outside. I hope it's just a situation with Minnesota that we don't match up well and play like we did against SJ and St.L.

The coaches and players will agree with you 100%. But we finally have a goaltender that can win us some games! Lets hope they return to last nights form on Monday.

BOB IS AWESOME!:yo:

Probably the same as every other team that didn't have one...

Except for the fact that most of our roster was a bunch of new guys thrown together. That theory doesn't make any sense at all. One of if not the youngest teams coming into the season with a huge amount of new faces, surely you can think of the differences in Columbus vs other teams on the importance of a training camp this season..

You think it hurt, I think it helped... our young players had more time to play real hockey in the minors instead of running the pylons... not to mention they gained age too.
