Of course it's premature to label the CBJ rebuild as a bust.

The 2010-11 team was more exciting to watch than this year's team or me. Just my preference. I think it may have been because Callahan/Dubi/Anisimov were playing for contracts. Perhaps, but this has to be the most disappointing NYR season for me in my 13 seasons of following the team.

CBJ finished last placed and have turned around to a near playoff team by adding great depth players on all lines. They have a ridiculously stacked prospect pool. In 5 years time, we will be discussing "Why did we let the Rangers let CBJ hire JD" when the team is in the same realm as the Calgary Flames are right now.
