The man-to-man defense is like pounding a square peg into a round hole at this point. The season is more than halfway over and they STILL have no idea who to cover and are failing to communicate.

That's because I'm pretty sure that on day one of his tenure as coach here Vigneault handed out a pamphlet, pre-printed and not actually written by him, titled "My coaching philosophy and systems". Among other things, it contained the only explanation of AV's defensive system our players have ever received... And still stands as the only "coaching AV has done all season". Since then it's just been chew gum and look pained, distressed or confused.


And I'm honestly not being that sarcastic when I say this. ****ing clown.
