We all did. People can blame the coach and his linemates til the cows come home (some complaints there are warranted) but this is a player who was being compared to Celebrini, Bedard, and Michkov coming into the year.

The results are extremely disappointing

Think Ahlers said the baby was born a little early, so makes sense it's taking a little more time before everything is stable.

I guess we see it differently.

Flyers played the ducks a couple weeks ago in anaheim, and flyers didnt even look towards Cutter.... this is just manufactured due to the crowd. Cutter didnt really do anything to warrant it, and if he retaliates itll be open season on him.

Yeah if we had a better team and would be beating them on the scoreboard, crowd would be silent and Flyers wouldn't be into it. This is good lesson for the youngsters, but the vets need to push back a little. That why they are called veterans.

Even Getzlaf and Perry weren't fighting all their battles at the beginning. When they run their mouth too much they had guys like Pronger, Beauch, Parros, Moen, O'Donnell etc to fall back on.

This team doesn't have that kind of pull and game has changed anyway. It still has veterans pulling some nice paycheques, and they need to show something in order for me to believe they are willing to play hard for each other.

Listen, I love the guy to death, but if Terry is the difference between us looking competent and looking like a college team, this franchise is doomed

It’s got nothing to do with Terry. It’s got everything to do with us not having a single other player on the roster right now that should be playing above the third line. So yes, he’s the difference between being a doormat and being remotely competitive.

The coaching doesn’t have answers, doesn’t utilize the talent correctly, and cant motivate.

The leadership after a game like this is extremely questionable (if I was gudas or any vet I wouldve gone and taken a run at one of their star players early to set the tone and pull the attention off of cutter.)
