lol they gave Johnston a double minor for roughing and only a minor on the Flyers. But go ahead, drunk Flyers fan in my aisle, keep yelling ref you suck
To be fair... thats the correct call

johnston threw 2 punches when things calmed down. Hes an idiot, an anchor and a waste of a roster spot.

Speaking of johnston... there he is hugging
I could use a hug rn. That chargers game broke me.

Johnston refuses to actually enforce anything when guys take cheap shots or runs at our guys, but has no problem throwing punches when the linesman is between him and the other guy. f***ing scrub.
Worst enforcer in the league.

At this point i hope we lose 6-0.... and i hope we continue to lose 6-0 until PV gets rid of cronin and johnston

The faster we lose the faster the entire coaching staff gets fired. I like us not allowing flyers to poke at Gibson. I have a feeling Gibson might get into it tonight too. Good on Mac/fabri and also Johnston did need to send a message to Sanheim. Even the flyers announcers were saying how sanheim was ultra physical with cutter G last game. Yes I wish we had a truly mean enforcer, but for now Johnston will have to do.

Well good for Jamie I guess. If anything good is to come of this game, maybe it's him jump starting his career again after this one. I have my doubts with him hitting it with Torts, though.

But seriously this is one sad affair right now without Terry and Z. Absolutely no one there to drive the offense.

With Cronin's system there is nothing to be excited about anyway. I think sooner the team moves on from him the better. Biggest thing for me would be Verbeek canning him before the season is over, and so admitting his mistake. It most definitely is a mistake, since they are still exactly were they were before he hired him.

This game is actually pissing me off. Cutter is playing scared/tentative, Drysdale pots one, our guys are getting ran, and we're f***ing complacent
Same, I shouldn't be this mad about a mid-season hockey game that is irrelevant to the standings, but to come out from the wrong side of a beat-down and look completely unprepared and uninterested is just pathetic.

If Johnston had any balls on him he would go full Kevin Sawyer. But that's apparently not what he gets paid for ... Wish I got paid for doing absolutely nothing at my job
Man I remember watching that live as a kid. I was screaming I was so proud

Nobody knows what to do on the ice, especially in the offensive zone. It's embarrassing.

I honestly don’t think Cronin is toxic at all and don’t think those SC reports are accurate.

I just don’t think he knows what he’s doing. Verbeek is going to be clouded by those games they won against good teams. Even a blind squirrel finds his nuts once and while.

I mean at a certain point... not admitting your mistake is going to be damning to the young players.

McTavish, carlsson, mintyukov have all struggled w/ cronin system... which are 3 high end picks.
Zegras has struggled (but at least you can see positive in his overall game).

The only young player that is really succeeding in Cronin system is Lacombe (and to a lesser extent Gauthier)

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the opening playoff game. Since I’m a Raider fan and a Duck fan (and still causally follow the Angels), the only joy I get out of sports at this point is watching my enemies falter in the first round
