Between how boring this team is and the rut Michkov is in, I think its time to take a break from watching.

This HAS to be the last season of Torts right? Not only are they getting worse, they are spectacularly boring. Pretty obvious they arent buying what Torts is selling and really havent since that 2nd half debacle last season.

I mean, besides like the 2-3 absolute trash teams, NHL teams are streaky. There will be ups and downs. If TK and/or Sanheim had to go on IR we’d be a firm lottery team, which we are already close to being right now. They are just a bad team with 2 legit “great” players, and a 19 year old rookie who has played like 80 games in the last 2 years. I would love to see Chicago and SJ start to put things together, and maybe Nashville has something in the gas tank. A run to the bottom for the Flyers isn’t out of question

So shrewd of Danny B. to get a player that can put up TIPPET LIKE numbers for 1/3 the price. What a maverick he is.

Also, now 2 points out of last in the East. Buffalo Sabres are poised to pass this team in the standings.

I see a complete lack of direction this is another year of burning years off of players contracts and getting a lower draft pick then you should be getting. You've already missed the playoffs for the past 4 years, you are most likely not making any moves to acquire a dfference maker next season - so your looking at minimum a 6 year playoff drought. Continuing to slow roast this thing aint gonna keep fans in the building...

They are 27th so far.
Unbelievable progress for “rebuild-mode” team.
Seems like Danny hadn’t much time for evaluating this roster, right? Think he needs 5 more years.

Ersson was rusty, Drysdale lacked focus, and the rest of the team was out of sync.

Dallas is also a very good team, not the biggest or fastest, but really efficient, make a mistake and they advantage of it. Flyers made too many mistakes.

No, that's incorrect. This is what tanking looks like. Only issue is they're not trying to tank. They're trying to remain competitive and compete for the playoffs. They don't want to be down the bottom because it's so hard to get out of it. These are the recent words of the GM. They're where they are due to incompetence, not by plan. If they can't do now what they set out to do, what makes anyone think they can build this team to contending status. This is what they're refusing to trade Laughton for.

Came down from the great white north for this game…

The seats were fantastic (thanks again @Hollywood Cannon)!

This was my first game in Philly and we had fun. Yeah they lost, but my gf and her son are Stars fans so it was all good. Flyers played like a hot mess but they scored one and we got to enjoy what it feels like to have 19,000 fans on your side instead of me cheering by myself in a random arena.

The guy sitting beside us was really nice and gave us cheesesteak recommendations and even helped the Stars fans behind us.

A few Flyers fans razzed my gf’s son for his Stars jersey. Was mostly in good fun but one guy after the game when we were walking outside was very annoying and just wouldn’t shut up and it took a lot for me to just have us walk away. It sucks that there’s always a few like that but whatever. He was clearly drunk then just started insulting us for being Canadian.

The Snider tribute was well done and my daughter had a blast visiting and seeing things she’s only ever seen on TV, and it was great bonding over those things.

We did the Rocky statue and steps - yeah yeah cliche but very cool when you’re not from here - and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Walked around the city, got some food, and had a great time.

Thank you Philadelphia! We’ll be back for a win next time!
