I almost cursed his entire career too with that collision.

No points until after Monday's game. Hell, the lack of points may even get him benched for Monday. I have foreseen it.

My dumbass bought one of his gamers and Monday is his last game in the jersey so I fully expected him to die from that collision.

You're out here laughing and the linchpins of the rebuild are falling apart. The Edmonton 1st is going to end up closer to 33 than the Ducks' 2nd and you think this is funny?! Well you're right. :laugh:

It is wild to see how bad this team is visually and by all metrics. Also team is clearly getting worse as the year goes on, but they can still fool the authentics.

The Flyers head coach is a jackass. They play competitively and then in tight games, he gets even more conservative in the 3rd period. Michkov was dominant in this game. He had an xGF% of 98.86%. When he was on the ice at 5 on 5, the Flyers were controlling shot shares and scoring chances. He wasn't on the ice for a single scoring chances against in the game. What happens in the 3rd period. He gets 4 shifts in a 2-2 game for a team that can't score. Arguably their most talented offensive player. Tortorella wants to check to win. Michkov, despite dominant play, only saw 9:45 of 5 on 5 ice time in the game. I know Forester has been hot but he wasn't in this game. He got 12 shifts in the 3rd period compared to Michkov's 4.

See I actually think they outplayed by Toronto by a wide margin tonight. They just are too stupid to win sometimes...which is ultimately fine with me. I want a top 5 pick.

While your point is correct most of the time… Michkov was in the locker room getting looked at for a decent portion of the third.

They were the better team in both games.... goaltending ... bounces... special teams really the difference

If they weren’t relying on guys like Tippet to put in that glorious chance.

Or Drysdale to create something at the end.

If they had another viable threat other than TK or Michkov…

They can play as well as they want, talent comes through. They don’t have enough high end skill - and it shows itself far too often. Where are they getting it?

Tonight was the perfect example of how skill can undo a lot of bad very quickly. Leafs were awful tonight, but a few high skilled plays won them the game. Flyers have to play picture perfect hockey to win.
 
Watching Drysdale infuriates me so much....such a disappointment he's pathetic in how own end...whoever made or recommended that trade plus the pick of Jet should be let go.... Ivan looked ok past 2 games but how does a 6 ft 6 goalie that's 200 lbs give up half the net on that Tavaras goal ...ridiculous....TK, Mich & Risto played great today.... Tippet also gives us all heart burn....why can't this kid shoot with such a hard shot its mind boggling.... wtf is Torts doing to this PP it was decent and has become pathetic.... Foerster was amazing in Junior and AHL at scoring off the one timers on the PP.... Put him in that role and have a dman with a shot playing the point (Andrae anyone).... Frustrating loss and season..... this team with a top line center and a goalie like Hart would be a top 8 team in the league...Sad really

Statistically, a pretty even played game. Seems like the Flyers sat back in the 3rd again.

No this time I don't think they did. ESPN conned you out of seeing the better of the two games overall.

If anything this time it looked like the Leafs were on cruise control and not fully going for it
