I thought Hank, McD, Staal, Nash, MZA and Brassard had really good games. Miller was pretty good outside of his penalty, Richards was good on the PP and Stralman and Allan were good defensively.

AV needs to get over it and play CK in OT

Girardi. "I get lucky on that shot, I guess". You got lucky that the guy made a boneheaded move, you didn't get lucky on the shot. Dude, stop with the faux modesty. It's annoying.

Who else would be getting those opportunities? There isn't anyone to play over them. You like the PP? Great, he can be a PP coach. AV isn't responsible for Kreider's success. He's ready now. AV doesn't even trust him. Kreider has hit his stride and is responsible for his own success. I literally despise AV more than Torts, Renney, and 27 other head coaches in the NHL today. I honestly cannot stand him.

With Torts McDonagh is not on the PP. Zucc is likely not getting his opportunity and likely Kreider too. Our defense is likely better though.

We have the best SO goaltender in the league plus a few decent SO guys with decent efforts this year. I'm not too upset about the lack of Kreider.

Hank is pretty convincing right now. Would love nothing more than the king to get back on his throne full time. Looking great. Makes watching our team so much more enjoyable when Hank is on, even if we struggle. At his peak he's just a beast. He, Zucc, Kreider, McD and the pleasant surprise Richards has been sometimes this year keep me sane.

Defense better at the cost of a dysfunction offense. If we can somehow work out a B defense by the end of the season AND make the playoffs, I'd take that team over Torts's Rangers.

Lundqvist was great once again, and Staal and Stralman's return helped stabilize the defense.

The inability to finish/offensive ineptness is predictable but still frustrating nonetheless. And this team still gets pinned in their own zone far too often for my liking.

Except the best SO goaltender hasn't been the best SO goaltender this season, hell not in a number of years, probably not since 10-11. His Vezina season he was mediocre. Also the shootout is not equal to an OT win. ROW and all of that.

Well to be fair I think this is lower than any Torts team has ever been on offense. I feel like they have skill, but it's just not happening.

The thing that stood out the most to me this game was after that hectic, 1+ minute shift in OT where McD had a few chances...FLA calls a timeout to rest their players, and after the 30 seconds McD is right back out there for the faceoff. 28 min TOI...the guy keeps on amazing me.

He's incredible.

They are worried about Kreider in OT i don't get it he leads the team in goals and plus minus and is the only guy that has above even + - at 9. Makes no sense

that's trivial. I'm not sure if you're saying that he's not leading SO stats OR if he's not playing up to his elite SO game.

In 3 gos, he's only lost 1 that he should have won had we not gone 0-5 from the shooters. Solid tonight.

Hank is back. He looks like the Hank we all know and love. His timing is on point, his reflexes are perfect and his confidence is coming back to him. Very happy with his play the last two games.

What a move by Richards in the shootout. That's vintage, Dallas-era Richards right there.

Why do I get the feeling that AV doesn't like Henrik?

It's probably just the bad start and not trusting Henrik yet but ummm.... probably just tough love.

On the other hand, he compliments RIchards on his play (?) and calls him a great player (?) ?
