He didn't learn to defend in his reflection period, if that's what you're asking.

I know Nemeth wasn't expected to bring any offense but you've gotta work pretty hard as a defenseman to play 60+ games and not get more than 5 points.

That there is an ex-Ranger defenseman in each pair should be a positive for us.
