Thing is that Miller and Carey still put themselves in a position to succeed by going hard and winning board battles. I see zero emotion or compete from Buch right now.

In my opinion, there are far too many forwards struggling to point out Buchnevic. Doesn't matter if Miller is putting himself in a position to succeed, he does nothing with it. How many times has Nash taken over a shift, generate grade A chances, only for it to amount to nothing? It's a results oriented business. I don't feel Miller, or many of the other forwards, have been putting up the results they are capable of, including Buchnevic, Miller, Nash, Hayes, etc.

Case in point, look at Miller's playoff track record. He only has a couple of goals in 40+ games. It doesn't matter what he is doing, because the results aren't there.

Honest question do you think miller has played well lately? Because buch is a scapegoat. Miller has been the worst forward on this team for a month now yet he still plays with quality players. Buch has a rough 4 shifts and he’s back playing with ****ing carey

Worst in what regard?

If our experience and Arizona's inexperience doesn't play out in a Rangers victory tonight, I am gonna be one severely pissed off Rangers fan.......I simply cannot have this!

To be fair, Buch hasn't created much offense period in weeks at 5v5. I'm not just talking about points, but setting guys up, getting shots on net, helping keep the cycle going, winning puck battles etc.

Buchnevich could be putting up 2 PPG and he would still be getting benched because the coach doesn't f***ing like him, and people expect him to be fired up to play.

I just got excited for you for a second thinking we’d see McD-Skjei

Miller has been far worse then buch has been

Worse at what? He's (Miller) scored more in the last month, he's won more board battles (eye test.. are there stats for this?), he seems to be more effective on the forecheck. He does turns the puck over a lot though

Agree with the demotion or not, (I don't) you take it on the chin and put your best foot forward. That's what it means to be a pro.

He was at like 4.13 p/60 at the time of his first benching. He was 4th in the league.

And then started sulking. If that's how he's going to act he can f*** off. I hate sulking players which is why i honestly hope he's hurting.
