Blues are 33 games into their 82 game season, sitting at 15-15-3. Simple question - check the guys who have been worth what they're being paid. Don't check the guys who haven't been worth their money.
Injured Leddy was omitted, as was newcomer Fowler as there's simply not enough data to warrant an assessment.
For guys in the final year of their current contract but who have already signed a contract for next year (Neighbours & Buchnevich), I'm asking about next year's contract as I doubt very much the club is expecting either of those guys to take a massive step forward in their development from what they're bringing today. Both guys are clearly worth their current contracts ($835k & $5.8M) so there's little to be gleaned from having that discussion. The more interesting question is 'Are they worth what Army just extended them for'?
The guys who get selected that are living up to their contracts and likely are the guys Army/Steen wouldn't be interested in moving; though it could be argued that it's a good time to sell on those guys if that should be a consideration.
The guys not checked would probably find themselves on the list of 'problems to be addressed'.
Let's have a look at the consensus views of Army's roster for '24-'25.
