We shoot into them a lot, and when we pick corners, we miss the net. Then there's a lot of unfortunately miracle saves that go against us when we do get great scoring chances.

Miller should be the starter for team USA. Guy has excellent numbers on the worst team in the league. And his stats aren't padded by weak perimeter shots. You can argue he has been one of the top-3/top-5 goaltenders in the NHL this season. Put Miller on the Kings and he'd be over a .940SV% and you can shave off at least a full goal on his GAA.

Even if Quick was healthy, Miller would still be my pick. Sabres are being out shot by the Capitals 45-16 and it's a 1-1 game. Miller has held the Sabres in tons of games this year. It's not fault his team is terrible.

As a USA resident, I hope Miller is in between the pipes. Elite goaltender.
