Noooo Richards is a good guy. He is calm, very exp and has won a cup. I believe he is a Natural leader on this team. Giving Zucc or any other player the A or C wouldnt be smart. Hejduk couldnt handle the pressure of being C. Landeskog struggled aswell. Its not always a good thing to be given an A or C.

I see what you're saying but I wouldn't describe Richards as "calm" I'd describe him as "comatose". Also, next season, assuming he's bought out, someone needs to get the letter.

Anyway, Zuccarello seems like he wants a leadership role. I don't think this wouldn't be like Leetch, having the C foisted on him.
