I’ve decided I want to resign Strome.

I think he would get around 6-6.5 mil a year in free agency. I wonder what it would cost to buy out 2 or 3 free agency years. Maybe 4.5x4 or 5x3 would get it done, but it feels like too much. 4x4 or less would be ideal. As long as he’s with Panarin and producing like this, I think it’s worth it. And who knows? Maybe Panarin wouldn’t be producing as much without him. Maybe it goes both ways. I haven’t seen this sort of chemistry between two players in a while.

Thought some of you would be interested to know that Chris Schlenker the one ref from the Oilers debacle is working this game tonight too- some of you will be betting the mortgage on the Flames based on your conspiracy theory.

Like the lines overall, but would swap Chytil and Zibanejad. Kakko has looked best at even strength when he's been with Zibanejad and Kreider/Buch were good earlier in the year with Chytil, so not much would be lost by taking Zibanejad off that line.

I like him too, he seems like a real leader as well, slap an A on his chest. He's a real good Ontario boy. He's the same age as Zib. Could be a late bloomer like Zib also.
