I’d like to know our breakaway conversion percentage this year. I feel like it’s awfully low. It would have been a huge goal if Leo had buried his chance.

When Leo starts burying those. He will be elite level . His finish is not that great in big moments. That was his nack at the draft.

Off topic, I hope the org saw how people lined up early for the Ducks/Angels baseball jersey to make more jerseys available to be purchased online or in the store.

the way he says player names like Gudas sounds so offensive… he gets so lost on his thoughts… but the organization is trying their best to groom him, likely to take over Hayward… and who knows it might be soon… he’s 64 and might want to call it a career.

i can forgive them not calling anything on that breakaway, but to the immediately call a penalty on us after all the other shit they let go is is ridiculous.

8 games over .500 at the end of December, 7 games over .500 at the end of January. Then we went 8-21-5. The Verbeekening.

Last time we were .500 in 2021-22 season was game 65, on Mar 21st: 27-27-11 (65 pts). After Game 62 was when the Verbeekening happened. (Actually, sooner b/c Verbeek sat on his hands when Manson went on IR during All-Star break in Feb and didn't add any defensive RD like former GM Murray would have, especially since it was Getzy's last year in the league.)

I got frightened at the start of the game when Johnny and Etem were talking to each other while the game was going on. I was gonna go to the radio telecast for audio of Etem was the color guy for this game. Thankfully, I was talked off the ledge when people on here shared Etem was the on-the-ice guy and Guy was the color guy. I tried listening to Etem to the radio broadcast, but I just couldn't get through the game. I tried several times too b/c I can't watch and drive at the same time.

I pointed out how hot Terry was in recent games before the game started. Terry is our best offensive forward. He has 7 points (4g, 3a) in the past five games.

Negative HDC Diff record = 4-3-0
... That's crazy to see six of the games have -5 HDC or higher differences!
... We won two games in extra time: OT vs WPG #37 and SO vs Utah.
... Terry scored 4g + 2a in three of those four wins.

Positive HDC Diff record = 2-1-0

Guess Terry on a hot streak with our netminders doing their best is our combo to winning games against a higher volume of HDCA's.

We lost the HDC battle tonight again, with a -5 HDC Diff.
