Yeah I’ve noticed her documenting essentially everything Leo has been doing or hasn’t been doing. Right now they are feeling pretty high and rightfully so, hope our young guys strike back at some point
I do think eventually a coaching change will be needed and maybe an overhaul of the player development staff. We've got some kids improving but we need all of them to get on the right development track. Or pray that Sennecke is a golden goose.

What a difference it makes when everyone is taking meaningful shifts with intention.

By the way, I don’t think Hellesons’ hit was bad. Watching it over and over, it was Zary that shifted back to avoid the hit to the body and Helleson just followed through. Refs got emotional and thought they needed to give the game misconduct to avoid more fights.

Calgary has hit a lot of posts tonight, missed open net. How many times have the ducks been the team that had tons of chances and later on it cost them the game? It seems like we’re the only team in the league where you can’t even recall a single game or 2 where you can say a team hits a post on their end and we score coming back the other way . I mean it’s happened to us 10x at least this season. And I can’t remember it happening in our favor yet. We’re due a handful of those

Eh, he was leading with that knee. It was an awkward angle which is most likely the cause of it, but he's gotta learn to pull up or change his approach.

I'll also say, the refs probably did Helleson a favor by giving him a game. He would have had a target on his back regardless if the hit was clean or not.

If this is the LaCombe we’re getting from now on, I officially feel good about our defense moving forward.

The forwards are a bizarre mess at this point with very little internal help coming from the minor leagues (sans Colangelo and Sennecke). Verbeek is going to have to find help from outside the organization at some point. Plenty of roster spots to upgrade there

The front on angle of the knee hit made it look more understandable to me why the refs called it upon review.

I may disagree as a ducks fan but its a 50/50 and a player was injured so I understand the call. Just dont think its egregious for multiple games from Dep of Player Safety. Getz you better not take ur fallout with franchise on poor helly
