He’d be better at podcasting. He doesn’t have the persona at least yet for TV, and if I’m being completely honest he doesn’t bring much insight into what and why things are happening on the ice.

IMO it's his cadence. It's so choppy, and he seems to be searching for just the right thing to say all the time and his delivery is also late. At least he isn't using the old timey voice inflection he has on the radio.
