Calgary directly above us in the Pacific standings, five points ahead. Maybe it's time to take Killer and Leason off Leo's line and surround him with skill.
The team’s play is based on having two lines that can actually function now, so your choices should be Nesterenko, Harkins, Leason, Lundestrom, or Johnston.

I think breaking up the Terry line would be idiotic, and McTavish is starting to look like an NHL,player, so I’m against neutering his line as well.

Yeah this unfortunately. Only hope is Zegras getting back soon to get more offense on that line. Would not break up the other lines. Especially the Terry line.

Doesn’t matter about Leo’s limemates in the sense that he should still show more puck possession and responsibility. He’s been a turn over machine who pouts after each turnover way way to often lately. He has the ability to control that part of his game and it isn’t so much something we can just excuse because of leason and killorn being his linemates.

Was going to say, this is what we’ve got for him. He was playing with better players but he wasn’t great. If he wants to move up he can help himself by not tossing the puck away at the blue line and taking the puck to the net. He’s an amazing puck-protector and his anticipation and vision with the puck are incredible so he should lean on that and not force a give and go (or whatever the hell he’s going for with those passes) that just isn’t there.

Both things can be true. Leo needs to improve. Leason has been a non factor on the line, and Killorn-as the veteran presence-has been a bigger play/momentum/flow killer than usual. All three are contributing to the problem.

I'm legitimately in favor of at least trying Lundestrom in Killorn's spot and bumping the latter down. At least I'll see if the Swedes have any connection tonight

This is sort of the meaningful game that Pat was saying before the season.

So ofc Zegras and Terry are out it seems
Honestly...I know its an important game if this team wants to have any chance of sneaking in as a wild card but with his run of injury problems, I prefer the team wait until Z is completely clear and recovered. Secondary scoring is gonna have to step up tonight.

Oh, absolutely. Also, I'm very happy for Terry, he needs to be with his wife, absolutely no questions asked.

Just whining about our "luck" for today  but as you said, we need to win games anyway. From what I've seen from our guys, it feels they probably feel the same way – no excuses
