Connor needs shoot first mentality. Don't defer to his linemates and get off that laser beam of a wrister he has.

It's a tough one, TOI wise, but I'd like to see more of the Larkin line. 4th line can frustrate a bottom pairing alot more.

Guentzel has no place in the top 6, he handicaps the elite skill guys. But also doesn’t really fit the bottom 6. Sullivan for ya though.

Nah he’s like a rich man’s Kunitz. Elite complimentary player. His finishing ability might be unnecessary on a line that already has Matthews, but he’s a better overall player than Connor, Caufield, etc. I’d maybe audition Boldy next to Hughes & AM34, but otherwise I like Guentzel there. He will bury the chances he gets and knows how to defer to a better player

Looks they are mixing up the lines a bit. Connor is with Trocheck and Nelson and Boldy is with Larkin and Miller. Hanifin is also lining up with Fox, Werenski with McAvoy, and Faber with Slavin.

Being physical in the nhl playoffs has a bigger impact than in a small tournament

Stamina/endurance matters a lot more in the playoffs since you can play an opponent for up to 7 games before moving onto the next series.

It’s not like canada is going to be worn down by physical play when they can roll 4 lines that can score

If USA wins I’m guessing it’s because their goaltending/defense is better than Canada’s scoring
