When healthy, Ek is a physical beast. Whatever tests they do in the Wild preseason, he has always been head and shoulders above the rest in conditioning.
He's obviously dealing with something right now.

He must really want a piece of this tournament, because I think the time off would do him a world of good.

Disastrous center lineup. Pettersson has been a complete dud for the last years. Worse than he's ever been. 50 point forward despite ton ice ice time and PP-play

Zibanejad is terrible this year. Basically same situation as Pettersson except he's also terrible defensively

Eriksson Ek also has a down year but at least he's only a 3rd line center and is good defensively.

Leo Carlsson, 30 point forward who lost his swagger, 3 points in the last 14 games.

It's not all about points as a Centre, EP still has all the same talent as before and after a summer of no training among others he's finally healthy and I bet he plays a huge role for my darkhorse pick in this tourny.

I feel like the lines are quite disappointing. Quite a few off the top players are having an off season too.. I guess Finland and Sweden are just there when USA and Canada play for the win.

This is a strong team, I think they can beat Canada for sure if all the moody egos come together.
