In the overtime Mackinnon got 2 or 3 shots as he weaved through the defense.

I don't have a huge problem with that. On the other hand the advantage of 3 on 3 is setting up all three guys in the offensive zone and passing it to create an opening. I think Mackinnon just wanted the overtime glory.

If a player can skate faster and get around the opponent players, he should deftly do so; he should not slow down to wait for his on-ice mates to catch up because a high probability goal-scoring opportunity could be lost.

The only time Ottawa media stood up to the org was when Ian Mendes and Simmer brought on Pierre Dorion and grilled him during the interview.

Other than that the media is quite partisan with the org. Like would you ever expect booboo, Gord Wilson or talk too f***ing much Dean Brown to ask the hard hitting questions?

Yeah that line is one hell of a wrecking crew. Doubt they'll get broken up this tournament.

Also, any notion of this being a soft tournament is out the window with the way Brady(and team USA) is putting the body on Finland.

He does play like this for the Sens. Just surrounded by less talent obviously, and no one is at their best 82 games a year.
