No, I was wondering how our lineup would do against the U.S. and the Tkachuk brothers before the tournament started.

Be careful about falsely attributing things to other people that you know nothing about.

But yes, our big 4 and others will give the other teams problems. I favor Canada because of the big 4. But it will be interesting to see what happens on Saturday.

Everybody knows what is going on is because of that stupid Cheetos MOFO. People booing are not booing the American anthem, they are booing him specifically. That seems pretty clear to me that it's only a medium (there are not many of them we can effectively use) through which we show our disdain about the situation. Proof is before him, there was no booing of their anthem. And I think if some Americans feel attacked by this, it's 1) because they agree with Trump ways (an there are A LOT), or 2) They are not aware about the situation (and there are A LOT), or 3) they show lack of sensibility about what's going on and always bring back that Trump ''Art of the deal'' BS argument (which I absolutely don't buy at all).

Intention is the important thing here. The interpretation of it we can't control and it's their problem.

We didn't have international hockey best-on-best for 9 years. If we had tournaments every 2 years, you'd be able to see each players stats in best on best. So the only thing we can look at are U18, U20 levels - quite imperfect given the time distance. Reinhart did well at the U20 level, when he was over age, but he was not a core player from 16 to 18 years old in U20. If you scale that up in age, you get what you get now, a player with limited success when he's physically matched. In the NHL, he's not physically matched, he has an edge, not in best on best.

70 pts AHL scorer arriving in the NHL and getting 30 pts. This storyline will reproduce in best on best, tons of players won't scale up.
