Ahh, I should have known that, since I'm familiar with all the goalies in the league and he has the most Finnish sounding surname of any goalie in the league.

I actually don't know who the third stringer is for Sweden. Is it Anton Forsberg? Whoever it is was probably a late replacement for Markstrom's absence.

I know Canada's is Montembeault because I can't stop laughing about how Thompson was left off their roster, and there have been times where I have questioned how good Thompson really was, but certainly not anymore. I'm not even sure if Hill or Montembeault were dressed as backup last game and which one sat upstairs or in the back.

I can't even remember if the USA dressed backup was Oettinger or Swayman the other night.

One thing I miss from the 90s… a good ol goalie fight (glow puck on Fox is a close 2nd). We just need crazies like Roy and Belfour back in the league again.

I guess him, Forsberg and Soderblom are on the same level and in the end if your 3rd goalie gets playing time you're already in a pretty f***ed up situation. From my experience Euro teams 3rd goalie is much more of a off ice thing or familiarity with coaches and national team than your performance necessarily.

Another stoppable goal. I'm pretty sure I have about half the goals in this tournament (maybe slightly less) as stoppable.

It's still only like a 3 game sample size that's not much, but I can tell you that's considerably higher than the 27%-29% I normally find in the regular season.

I get why Ullmarks five hole was as big as Bonnie Blues but man that was a perfect play by Granlund. Look as if he's passing the whole way so Ullmark can't commit 100% and then just a perfect shot through the wickets.
