Agreed. Going in to this tournament I wasn't exactly on board with it but this first game has me wanting more now.

10000% players can handle an extra 5 mins if needed and roll more lines then

Not sure how this tournament ever got any hate. Even if you wish some other countries were included, how can any hockey fan act like watching most of the best players in the world play with and against each other isn’t extremely exciting. And in a very competitive nature. Haven’t had anything close to it since 2016 if that was even at this skill level. The games in this tournament are probably the best competitive games of hockey skill/talent wise that have ever been played.

Exciting first game. Have never seen someone trying as hard to play hero as MacKinnon was in OT. Out with Mcdavid and Makar and just kept trying to do it on his own.

Just went back to rewatch, and kind of, but 3v3 is so man to man, he can't really commit to Marner with another Canada player up high.

There was some switching going on defensively but Marner is the responsibility of one of the guys deeper in the zone.
