Personally I thought Sam Bennett was the ideal winger for #97. Having to chase this game was never going to be ideal one more against us and we are probably toast. I'm not convinced our skating is going to hold up over the three lines Cooper is continually using.

The US players are so fricking strong on the puck on all those in tight battles... They look like a class above in that regard.

Yeah, we left out some talent, including young guns Bedard & Celebrini. I can understand Celebrini, because he's a rookie, but then what about Wyatt Johnston.

I think Suzuki would have been better than some of these picks. We also left Shit-filet at home. I don't like him, but the guy has hands & can score.

He's too much of a defensive liability. Offensive specialists like Bedard are not great at this level until they can be overwhelming good offensively. I'd like to see Wyatt and Macklin for sure next year at the Olympics and less players like Reinhart who can't really compete in best on best. Or at least play Reinhart with Bennett down the lineup where he could bring something.
