I wouldn’t put too much stock into how Marner is playing. As much as he wasn’t a good fit with McDavid, his skillls certainly
aren’t a good fit with the offensively challenged Cirelli.

Marner? Not really. He is a high volume high minute puck distributor. He is an effective passer when he has time and space to let his creativity shine through.

thats the thing though these are available at a premium only in important games as everyone is dialed in. The premium cost you gotta pay: -> 1) grit, 2) willingness to take a hit to make a play, 3) willingness to go into dirty areas and fight for pucks, 4) boardwork
