How is that different from any other night? This is heavy, physical, face-paced "playoff" hockey. This is where Marner cosplays Casper.

Sweden goal was weak but Binnington has played pretty well otherwise.
Point has had a really strong game.

Really tight from both teams in that period.

Doughty made a meal of it behind the net which led to the goal against.

Nylander a couple errors but is playing better than some are saying.

Marner playing his role well and some big shot blocks that period.

McDavid still leads all Canadian players in 5v5 expected goals but the Canada team overall seemed winded from that dominant first.

I'm happy he's on the team because we get to see him compared to the best players and thus far he looks closer to Jarvis than Mcdavid or Crosby, which is as I expected. Hell Jarvis stands out as more of an impact player than Marner and Jarvis just signed long term for 7.5 million. Which is about 1/2 what Marner is looking for lol.
