I wonder which one of the core 3 performs best:

Nylander is one of Sweden's top end forwards, he will be their go-to for creating and offensively he probably takes the hardest matchups, he's gonna need to make sure his offence is going.

Matthews is kinda in the middle of both, as he will be asked to bring both his offence and carry a huge load, but also to be a good defensive player to open things up even more for others.

Marner is almost the opposite, on a team with Mcdavid, Mackinnon, Crosby, ... his play will not depend on his offence as much as the other two, but his defensive impact is going to be big I think, especially on the PK. I can see him being moved off of L1 if he doesn't fit there and Canada being successful, but I can't say the same if the same thing is happening on the PK.
