As great of a moment as that was for the Isles fans, I think the hockey world truly got robbed of what could have been a match up for the ages.

Like, this year, a McDavid vs Crosby or a MacKinnon vs Crosby match up would be amaz-balls but NOTHING compared to what a 93 Kings vs Pens SCF would have been. Fate is cruel sometimes.

Now see, I think those things are f-ing badass. I love the way the Kings and Knights look in them.

That said, I did have a mirrored shield in my day. My joke helmet is an old Jofa bucket with one of those huge Itech visors and I put that mirror wrap stuff on it. Looks hilariously atrocious.

Except LA had theirs first. They were worn at the stadium series games against Colorado.
Either way, they need to go.

Wish we were seeing the two best RR 2.0 jerseys tonight!

You want to drive fans away.... Keep them in rotation or make them permanent.
