And the fact he was at least OK in game 3 means that at the very most we are talking about the first two games of the season, both of them 6-2 wins.

He could have scored two own goals, taken 5 penalties, been beaten up and defecated on center ice in those two, and it would still have been much too early for the kind of criticism he saw.

I think it speaks a lot to Rutta as a stabilizing force tbh.

I've noticed big strides in POJ's awareness with each passing game. I assumed he just lacked it, but it really is him just being slow to adjust. His lower body strength is still far too weak for the type of game he plays

The demise of Brian Dumoulin has been greatly exaggerated. He’s not a 2D anymore, but he’s still great for what he is.
