I am saying that Howard put in the same role as Chaffee, I would expect worse from Howard. Why? Because Howard isn't that player, and you know Coop wouldn't be putting him on the first or second line.

Very poor start, but only down one and the posts haven't helped. Put it behind them and keep building on the momentum. Long way to go.

If we can avoid giving up a super softy goal early we are in good shape. Seems we always fall behind early on these guys on a goalie brain-fart moment. Vasy has been soooo good since Jan I don't expect it to happen.

It seems I was sort of right. Our d-zone forwards had brain farts to fit the script. It's always the same vs. these guys. They are in our heads for some reason.

Tampa didn't have the cap space or real need to give him games/a spot, especially not during the playoffs. If JBB feels good about signing him next year, great. If nor, he'll get good value for him, likely at the draft.

Meh idk. The article is written with a bias towards Howard (imo). It was from the College Hockey News site.

I wouldn't be surprised if JBB changes his mind by the end of the season and signs him but even if he doesn't he isn't gone (yet).

So I'm not going to overthink it too much. I get that Howard wants to sign and play right away but I also understand JBB's point of view and how this would be a bit of a gamble with a player that hasn't played in the NHL and could make cap things difficult in the future.

And at the end of the day, we have no idea what was said or how the talks go, so I'm going to save all the worry and speculation for the off season.
