We are facing late season Buffalo, which I'll admit is a deceptive opponent. They've sucked the entire season, and are now going all in while everyone they face will be thinking "eh it's the Sabres". Then they end the season on a 7 game win streak or something to give their fans hope, only to do it all over again the next season.

It's still good to win the division. But in my opinion,

Winning Division > 2nd place >>>> Third place.

Having home ice in first round is paramount.
