As much as I love that Caufield goal, I think we all know Heineman won this game. We are going end up having to pay him 14 million and playing him two minutes a game so he never gets injured.

What a goal by Caufield. He's now at 53 pts in 59 games. That's about a 75 pt pace. Still 23 games left, and he needs 12 goals to hit 40. Let's go, Cole!!
Nice to finally beat San Jose in Montreal. Damnit.
Not a great game. We were turning the puck over a lot. We survived it.
Suzuki 8 pts in 3 games since the break. He obviously needed those 2 weeks off. He's been a monster.
Terrific games by Beck, Heineman & Struble. Struble is playing physical and gaining confidence.
I thought Dobes should have started this game. Kid has to play & if you're not going to play him send him to Laval and recall Primeau. He can sit & watch just as well as Dobes can.
Dobes is still an inexperienced pro net minder. If they're waiting for a back-to-back to play him, we'll, that's not happening for another 2 weeks. There's only 3 back-to-backs left in season.

I looked at your goals. I can't speak to the game overall, but that Newhook goal showed the difference between Beck and Dach. Beck is fast, he'll play to the end, Dach didn't do that.
Btw, why does Laine play so little in 5v5 and hasn't even played in 5v4 yet (he doesn't have time in the stats). Is he playing that poorly? Decent game according to the stats.

All for it, if Xhekaj deserved it.
However, if MSL is going to bench one player for glaring errors, then he’s setting a precedent and others should undergo the same treatment. We all know however that there are players who can have rotten games and yet will not see their playing time impacted. It’s a slippery slope.
