Yeah I don't know what people can bitch about watching this game? Like, these guys had 15 minutes with Time on Attack, out shot the opponent, had a like 15 scoring chances, played good d, Vasy made a bunch of good saves, just got unlucky and goalie'd. This is one of those good losses.

Make no mistake….winning the Atlantic is quite possibly the difference between a cup run and a long shot. It’s a big ask to go FL-TOR-WASH/CAR-Whoever. Ottawa is gonna lose round one to so the Atlantic winner.

As long Tampa beats Toronto and the Leafs don't get a point in that game, the division is very much alive. Toronto has multiple b2b's down the stretch as well. The Atlantic is far from over.

Yeah, unless Ullmark steals like 3 games in the series, they aren't very likely advancing past any of Tampa, Toronto or Florida. It's still a much better path to the Cup going through them first (not that they'll be an easy matchup, but between them and one of Toronto or Florida rd 1, it's nit even close).

Yup. We score an easy 4 or 5 times if Ullmark doesn't have Bishop's lucky horseshoe up his butt all night. It happens. I can live with this loss. It might end up being our best loss of the year
