- Jon Cooper: "It gets tough down the stretch. You're battling for position, and they gave us everything we could handle the other night in Tampa. They definetely had our attention. It's just one of those games where it's tight halfway through and then we get those two goals two minutes apart, and then we kind of defended our way through that. They’re a tough team to play. They’re always in your face. I thought our guys handled it much better tonight than on Saturday."
"Bottom line is you don’t want to roll into the playoffs with your B-game going. You want to have your A-game. You want everybody to be on the same page."
"We’re in a battle ourselves. Ultimately we’re not in a playoff spot yet, but depending on how things go here, if you have a chance to get home ice you’d like to get it. So we still have lots to play for."
- Victor Hedman: "Defensively it's been really good. Take away the Islanders game. You give up two goals in three games and, obviously, scoring at the pace that we do it’s the recipe for success. For us, we have a high standard and I think, in most of these games, we have played to that standard."
"I liked the way we competed. What I probably liked the most was the third period. We didn’t give up anything and spent a lot of time in their end. That’s how we’re gonna win on the road and down the stretch here. In the playoffs that’s the kind of game we want to play."
- Nick Paul: "We’re just getting ready for the playoffs. Playoffs is tight games, you know, 1-1, 1-0, 2-1. Real tight, low-scoring games. If we can just play hard defense and just keep building for the rest of the games out here, that’s what we want to do."
